Đề bài 1: In many countries, people in cities either live alone or in small family units, rather than in large, extended family groups. Is this a positive or negative trend?
It is true that cities are seeing a smaller families and one-person households, while the extended family is becoming a rarity. In opinion, this is a negative development.
As families become smaller, the traditional support network is disappearing, and this can have a negative impact on children as they grow up. In nuclear family or single-parent household, childcare becomes an expensive and stressful part of daily life. Without the help of grandparents or aunts and uncles, parents must rely on babysitters, nannies and after-school clubs to take care of younger children, while older children may be left alone after school and during holidays. The absence adult family members can mean that friends, television and the Internet become the primary influences children’s behavior. It is no surprise that the decline of the extended has been linked to a rise in psychological and behavioral problems amongst young people.
The trend towards people alone is perhaps even more damaging because of the psychological effects of reduced human interaction. Individuals who live on their own have nobody to talk to in person, so they cannot problems or discuss the highs and lows of daily life. They forgo the stimulation and hustle and bustle of a large family, and are left to their own devices for extended periods of time. The human contact in the home is necessarily replaced by passive distractions, such as television, video games, online chat rooms or Internet surfing. This type existence is associated with boredom, loneliness, and feelings of isolation or even alienation, all of which are factors that are known to increase the risk of mental illness.
In conclusion, I believe individuals thrive when they are part of larger family groups, and so it is worrying that many people are choosing to live alone or in such small family units.
Đề bài 2: Some parents their children whatever they ask for, and allow their children to do whatever they want. Is this a good to raise children? What consequences could this style of parenting have for children as they get?
It is true that some parents are overly and tend to spoil their children. In my opinion, this is not a good parenting style, and it can have a range of negative long-term consequences.
If parents want to raise respectful and behaved children, I believe that a certain amount of discipline is necessary. Having worked children myself, I have learnt that clear expectations and boundaries are necessary, and it is important to be able to say ‘no’ to children when they misbehave or try to push against these boundaries. This is only way to help young people to regulate their desires and develop self-control. In my view, who do the opposite and constantly give in to their children’s demands, are actually doing more harm than good. They are failing their children rather than being kind to them.
The children of indulgent or lenient are likely to grow up with several negative personality traits. The first and most obvious is that these children will become self-centred adults who show little consideration for the feelings or needs of others. One consequence of such an attitude could be that these adults are to work successfully in teams with other colleagues. A second negative trait in such people be impulsiveness. A person who has never lived with any boundaries is likely to lack the patience carefully consider options before making decisions. This may lead, for example, compulsive shopping, unwise financial decisions, or even criminal activity.
In conclusion, parents should help children to develop self-control and respect for others, and I do not believe that the permissive parenting style supports this objective.

Đề bài 3: Some people believe children should be allowed to stay at home and play until they are six or seven year old. Others believe it is important for young children to go to school as soon as possible. Discuss both views give your opinion.
Which suitable age children should their education at school is a controversial issue. While I understand that children staying at home until the six or seven bring several benefit, I strongly believe that they should go to school at the earliest.
On one hand, staying at home reaching six or seven brings children some advantages. Firstly, children obtained home before attending to grade one might have a better background than other pupils. This is because parents allow them to spend their daily time to teach their son or daughter one by one. Another advantage is this group of children might have more confident comparing with pupils going to class soon. They are mature, they could have a stronger mental and physical health.
On the other hand, there are main reasons parents should bring their children to school as soon as possible. First of all, leaving their family soon have to learn the way adapting with new environment. Schooling environment give more opportunity to make friends, be familiar with classes and lessons soon. Consequently, they are able improve their social relationship and many helpful skills. For example, they can learn to perform alone or with friends, and participate in various healthy activities at school. Secondly can save time in taking care of children, so they are able to acquire a flexible schedule for their job. As a result, they could ensure their income and cover their.
In conclusion, I firmly argue the benefit of children going to school as soon as possible outweigh that of staying at home until they reach the age of six or seven.
Bài mẫu IELTS Simon Writing Task 2 số 4 : These many of us prefer to throw damaged things away whereas in past people used to repair damaged items and keep them for a long time. Explain you think this change has happened? What are the effects of this change in attitude?
It is a fact that nowadays public not try to fix broken things. There are several reasons for this situation and there are few impacts of also. Both causes effects will be discussed further.
Examining the reason for crowd do not prefer repair damaged things, the most common one is they can replace the old with a new piece is quite cheaper than to fix it. This is because in this technological era everything becomes more and costly as it uses advanced technology. For example, a mobile display damaged and you want to get replaced that cost the same as the new phone nowadays, so, people prefer to buy a new one rather than spending on old ones.Furthermore, technology improving day by day. This mean product that you bought yesterday will be not the same tomorrow that resist a person to invest money in the old one.
The mentioned causes have some impacts. The foremost effect is a recycling of old products could not be possible as a person do not want to use that. Furthermore, plastic bags that are in used for conveyance not get recycled then it will damage the environment of the.
To conclude, it can be finally commented that there are many causes of not to reuse items such as the weird attitude of people and always want to have new, which has bad impacts that are mainly related to the environment as well as lives.
Đề bài: Some people think that it is better to educate boys and girls in separate. Others, however, believe that boys and girls benefit more from attending mixed. Discuss both these views and give your own. Give reasons for your answer and include any relevant examples from your own knowledge.
The idea of some part of the society is educate young children separately in schools depending on their gender. But the other of the society has the opposite view of this opinion. However, I agreed with the statement that students should educate in a mixed school rather than sending them into two separate schools.
If you consider, having separate education for girls and boys there are some advantages such as streamlining the school curriculum system entirely based on gender. The school can focus on subjects which will be more useful the girls such as aesthetic, science and ladies sports while boys schools can be more focused on engineering subjects and sports for boys. In Sri Lanka, we could vigorously this separation since the curriculum system has been taken into consideration as girls’ colleges boys’ colleges, also there is a clear difference of subject areas that are been taught in those schools.
However, I enormously believe that concept of having mixed schools is better because it is not recommended to teach the subjects on a gender basis. Besides, separating the students at a too young age may lessen the opportunities to know better each other and how differs their behaviors. As a result, when they grow they do not comfortable dealing with each other and it starts to see them as strangers which can potentially turn down the well-being of society. Therefore, the most developed do not follow this separation of the schools and the majority of the schools are established as mixed ones.
Hence, in the inclusion, I would state both educational have their own pros and cons. However, in my perception, I would prefer to mixed schools since it is so vital to have a balanced society.
