I have participated in numerous competitions throughout my life and have also received awards from such competitions. One such competition I’d like to discuss was the cycling competition in which I took part at my college.

I was 15 years old at the time and a college student. One day, I read in our neighborhood newspaper that a bicycle competition between colleges would be place the following week. The first three cyclists would get awards, with an admission fee of $20. I considered taking part since I was passionate about cycling.

I went to the starting location on the day of the competition and entered my name. I rode my bike while dressed for riding. About 30 competitors were there, and I was told to stand at my start location. I start cycling as soon as the whistle blows. I just focused on cycling with almost little thought of winning the reward.

It took considerable effort and time to cover the about 5-mile overall distance. I was genuinely shocked to learn that I received the third prize after the race. Due to the fact that I was one of the three award winners, I noticed that some of my students were yelling.

I was quite pleased and proud of myself for doing well in this tournament. In actuality, I never took my cycling habit seriously, but after excelling in that tournament, I began taking part in further bike competitions.

Sincerely, I would never consider myself to be competitive, much less participate in a competition. I try to stay away from competitions since I prefer to work independently and without interference from others. The Voice, a TV reality program that seeks for singing talent, would potentially be my dream competition if I were to enter.

This American-produced program has participants from more than 50 different nations, making it one of, if not the world’s most well-known singing competitions.

I choose this particular competition because I think I can sing reasonably well; I’m not sure how you and others would evaluate it, but based on my viewing of that program, I’d say I have a decent chance. In contrast to other talent competitions like American Idol and The X Factor, this one does not place as much emphasis on vocal ability as those competitions do. The contestant’s voice is extremely important. That’s why I’d be so excited to participate.

Since I’ve already hinted at it, I’m not overly confident in my abilities, so if I were to compete in this event, I’d need to develop both my singing ability and my confidence. Naturally, |would be terrified at first, even a little scared by the experience, but |believe |could overcome that fear with appropriate practice.

I took part in many competitions throughout my childhood, and because I was preoccupied with my career and profession, I still wish to compete today. When the Rotary Club recently announced a painting competition, which I was unable to know about, I became quite curious to learn more.

Without a second thought, I instantly considered taking part in that. It will take place in a few weeks, and I’m considering creating settings for it. I decided to turn this into a painting after seeing some stunning mountains and beaches in Kerala. When I participated in this competition, I modeled a lovely environment with mountains on one side and magnificent shrubs and trees on the other.

Since this state is known for its usage of captivating backwater lighting, I would demonstrate some of it. I believe that I have always been interested in this contest. However, since I was unable to enter any competitions while I was in high school or college, Kishan really caught my attention, and I wanted to give it a try right away.

1. What kinds of people are competitive?

People who feel the need to compete are typically highly motivated individuals who set ambitious goals for themselves and work hard to make those objectives a reality. Normally, these people would go to great lengths to realize their dreams. I firmly believe that I fall within this category.
